Popular commentator Ian Bishop has advised Shakib Al Hasan to play in the Kolkata XI without relying on the tested.
Kolkata Knight Riders have a star-studded list of foreigners, with captains Eoin Morgan, Andre Russell, Pat and Sunil Narine.
Ian Bishop's idea is that Kolkata can rely on veteran cricketer Sunil Narine
at the beginning, if he fails, Shakib will play in his place.
The bishop suggested that if there was any such plan in Calcutta, it should be abandoned. Shakib
should be played from the beginning without playing Sunil Narine just because he has been tested. He has pulled out the superhuman performance in the 2019 World Cup by advising Shakib to play.
He said, “It seems that Kolkata will start the team with the last test takers. Ian Morgan, Pat Cummins, Andre Russell and Sunil Narine will be there, but I would say play Shakib. He is the one who can do what he can if he has the best rhythm in the 2019 World Cup.
The Kolkata Knight Riders
know very well what Shakib can do in his own day, because Shakib has an important role to play in their two-time champions.
