A total of 21 officials and employees of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) have contracted coronavirus While performing government duties. Among them are two directors, four deputy directors, six assistant directors and nine other officers and employees.
A total of 129 ACC officials and employees have been infected with the coronavirus. Of which 105 were healthy but three including one director died.
ACC Director (Public Relations) Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the information to the media on Saturday (April 10). Yet the ACC has not stopped. They have important work to do. All the activities of the commission are going on following the guidelines of government restrictions.
He added that one of the new victims, a director, was hospitalized. He is not safe. The rest are being treated at home. Earlier, 107 officials and employees, including three ACC directors general, were attacked by Corona. Then three officers and employees died.
